as the title of the topic suggests, I have some problems with exfat these days.
My arch is based on the kernel 3.9.9 and I have installed the packages exfat-git (from AUR) and exfat-utils.
Then, I have correctly formatted a pen drive with mkfs.exfat.
The problems arise when I try to mount it:
mount: unknown filesystem type 'exfat'
how is that possible? Am I missing something?
Thank you very much in advance!

and how that page is suppesed to help me?
fuse-exfat is based on fuse, as the name suggests, but I wuold like to use the native support of the kernel >3.8 for exfat (and this is exactly what exfat-git should do), not fuse.
Are you suggesting to use fuse-exfat + exfat-git?
Any other idea?
I also noticed this behaviour. Mount does not automatically load the exfat modules. You will need to modprobe exfat-fs first.
well, I have just solved by adding the module in /etc/module-load
Now it works fine
Thanks to everyone!
