How to install nvidia-drivers for opengl?

I've been struggling with this problem for several days. It's killing me...
My laptop is acer 4743g with a gt 520m graphics card.

I tried bumblebee and nvidia-current and used optirun to run a program but crashed. What is the problem in here?

I want to write opengl programs. Now the opengl version in my laptop is "2.1 Mesa 9.2.0-devel". How can I get nvidia development package to write opengl programs with a higher opengl version?
