Hi again, so I Installed HP Deskjet 3650 using the localhost:631 utility, a test page is printed correctly ( a very ink consuming one at that) but after that nothing works. I can add documents to the printing que but they're processing forever.

the page has been "processing" for about 40 mins now. I've tried a bazillion different documents and methods (including HP print) , and all that happens is, stuff gets added to the que and it just stays there. Am I doing something wrong? Yesterday I tried installing it from hp-print, this appeared to work (test page printed fine) but then I had the same issue.

After trying absolutely everythingI could find on the web I've come to the conclusion that it's not possible to use this printer with CUPS. Maybe there's some other way that I'm not aware of, but knowing that HP has dropped support for this printer I can't say I'm very hopeful I'll ever get it to work. A newer HP printer/scanner works great with a USB cable (both printing and scanning) so I'm pretty sure I've set everything up correctly.
