Flashplayer - High average load and screen-blanking

Hey guys!

I just set up my Desktop-PC with a fresh arch (kernel 3.10 and so on) using i3 as WM. I've got an i3-3500k and a GeForce GTX560Ti running latest nvidia drivers and everything works just perfect! Except flash... it's really a pain in the a**... I'm using Chromium with Pepper?! flash and everytime I open spotify's webplayer or any other flash-based website my average load increases up to 0,4-0,6.

'top' shows me that the flash-cotainer grabs the most cpu-resources, X is second. I also tried 'flashplugin' from Adobe but that doesn't change anything.

The second problem is screen-blanking. The system just can't recognized wether a flash-movie is playing or not. After ~10 minutes my screen gets dark. The only thing I can do as a workaround is using xscreensaver. It allows me to disable screen-blanking, but when I watch movies right before sleeping, the screen stays on the whole night..

Can anyone tell me how to solve these problems?

And sorry for my English... it's too early xP

yes. Also tried unstable but couldn't see any difference.

Re: Flashplayer - High average load and screen-blanking

I took a snapshot. Went back to 'flashplugin' and enabled HWVideoDecoding.

In Chromium I have two tabs opened. g+ and spotify-webplayer.

is that load normal?
