A strange quiestion for libvirt.

Is it possible to use a directory, as root filesystem for the VM on a host with kvm?

EDIT

Host: Debian wheezy 64bit
VM: Archlinux 64bit

The only way I'm aware of is exporting the directory via NFS on the host, and let the guest boot with nfsroot.
