WiFi card off when startup

Hi all,

I have an issue after update the kernel 3.10. My laptop using Intel wireless card, and it's turn off when I start/reboot the system, so I should enable it manual.
I'm using XFCE & network-manager-applet. Please help me fix it.

Thanks.

Re: WiFi card off when startup

Hi - you have'nt provided a lot of information here BUT perhaps a (quick and dirty) solution for you might be to instal RFKILL, add your user to it's group (then you can run RFKILL as ordinary user) ... put command "rfkill unblock interface_name &" in your .xinitrc file ??? (assuming of course that you are using a WM from startup??)
