GRUB 2 not aware custom mkinitcpio presets?

Recently I decide to migrate from grub4dos to GRUB 2 to boot from disk with GPT. I have a custom mkinitcpio preset `linux-vbox.preset` to configure Arch run as guest in VirtualBox. The problem is `grub-mkconfig` didn't recognize this custom preset, only add the `linux` preset to `/boot/grub/grub.cfg`.

I know I can copy /etc/grub/10_linux to /etc/grub/10_linux_vbox, edit it to add string `-vobx` somewhere to help grub-mkconfig aware my custom mkinitcpio preset. But:

* This file rather complex, it's hard for a user to figure out how to customize.
* Since this file is complex, further update also not easy.

So I wonder is there any easier way to make grub-mkconfig aware custom mkinitcpio preset? Thanks.

I'm not sure if I understand correctly, but if your preset generates a kernel with a name other than the list defined in /etc/grub.d/10_linux, read one of
/boot/vmlinuz-* /vmlinuz-* /boot/kernel-*
it won't the detect it. Dito for the initramfs image.
The solution would be to fix your profile.

If I missed the point, please be more precise on what the result of your profile is, and what you expect grub to do.
