When I upgraded to the first kernel on pacman to use the udev method of specifying the boot path rather than devfs, the Storage Media part of KDE no longer would display hotplugged devices, and would only display the devices as specified in the /mnt folder. My flash drive no longer shows up in the Storage Media section. I had hoped that KDE 3.5 would have accounted for this change in kernel, and fixed this problem, but it did not. How can I fix this?
