Re: Hibernation does not shutdown the computer

yes of course. I update my system normally with sudo pacman -Syu. When I ran your script, I did it with sudo.

It worked perfectly few days before, maybe it is caused by the last big update of kde... no idea...

One remark: when I hibernate, the system goes in hebernation... and then my computer make the same sound as when it will switch off (a small clic) with the only difference with the past that it stay switch on.

Sorry if I confuse you will all these insignificant details...

Re: Hibernation does not shutdown the computer

I have a fairly minimal and fresh install. Arch, syslinux, slim, i3, kernel hibernation. the state is stored on my swap partition, but the computer does not cut the power. I'll report back when i know more.

Re: Hibernation does not shutdown the computer

I have i3 window manager installed on my laptop and I have the same issue. My laptop doesn't shutdown after issuing "systemctl hibernate". I have to turn off it manually by long pressing power button. I came here with hope but couldn't find any solution sad

Re: Hibernation does not shutdown the computer

Please don't necrobump 6 year old topics. There are quite a few more recent ones with suspension/hibernation problems that might be related to current 5.3 series kernels.

Closing.
