[SOLVED ]Deathspank duplicates controller

Hi,

I try to play DeathSpank over Steam/Wine and when I connect my XBox 360 Controller the game thinks that I have 2 controllers because the one controller is available over
  /dev/input/js0
  /dev/input/event16

Is there a way to make the controller only available over one location or hide one of them for the game?
The game has a very annoying on screen message who wants me to activate the second controller.

I tried xpad and xboxdrv and both seem to have the same behaviour.

EDIT: I found an easy solution. When I go into the Control Panel in wine I see the both controller under Game controllers and can deactivate one of them.
