Touchpad Cursor "Drifting"

When using my touchpad, the cursor drifts a few pixels for about one second after my finger stops moving. It's incredibly annoying. An ideas how to stop it? It works fine in Windows.

Re: Touchpad Cursor "Drifting"

Maybe you mean the option "AccelFactor"? If no, We face a same problem.

Setting AccelFactor to 0 didn't change the behavior.

Re: Touchpad Cursor "Drifting"

Try and set "CoastingSpeed" to 0. That keeps my cursor from moving on on its own.

Re: Touchpad Cursor "Drifting"

Sorry for the late reply, I was quite busy lately.

You could try https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php … 2#p1244002 as it did a trick in another case where CoastingSpeed did fail.
