7950 in Crossfire

So far I have tried multiple setting changes and cannot get the 7950 setup in crossfire mode.

Anyone else have these cards and got it working?

I have the newest AMD driver directly from their site.

Re: 7950 in Crossfire

You should use catalyst driver from Vi0l0 repository or AUR, is better than use AMD driver from their site. See this:

https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/AMD_Catalyst

After install, try to set up crossfire from amdcccle.

Re: 7950 in Crossfire

I am actually on Ubuntu and was wondering if the 7950 not working in crossfire was a issue of the distro, de, or just my install method.

I was hoping some one with the setup could verify.

I play games and really would love  the extra FPS.

Thanks.

This isn't going to work here unless you are referring to your ArchLinux installation.

This should be alright with the current drivers that are provided by Vi0L0 in ArchLinux. In Ubuntu, you should look at xedgers.

I know.

I am talking with members of the Linux community to try and find out if it is working for them on their distro of choice.
