Experiencing snow in chrome.

I'm unsure if this problem only happens in chrome or not, but thats the only place it happens consistently. It started with 3.10.  Anyone else have this problem?

Re: Experiencing snow in chrome.

Does this happen in e.g. firefox?
What graphics card are you using and what drivers?

Re: Experiencing snow in chrome.

I'm seeing that as well. Are you using an Intel HD4000 GPU? If so, have you overridden the software rendering list in chrome://flags? (Should not be overridden).

Re: Experiencing snow in chrome.

I am using an hd4000. I haven't changed any of the settings in chrome://flags. I can try firefox for a few days I guess.

Re: Experiencing snow in chrome.

Which acceleration are you using? If SNA, try switching to UXA.
Add to the device section in /etc/X11/xorg.conf

Option "AccelMethod" "uxa"

Re: Experiencing snow in chrome.

I get similar problems on my intel hd3000 chip (using firefox mostly).  I've noticed it happen more often after upgraded my intel driver to 2.21.14

Re: Experiencing snow in chrome.

In my case, no, I haven't seen anything unusual in the logs. I'm using SNA and the software rendering list for Chrome is overridden. I thought that was the cause, but apparently it isn't. Probably a bug in the intel drivers.

Have you tried UXA?

Re: Experiencing snow in chrome.

Nope. It's been pretty much a minor issue for me so far, so I haven't investigated it. Usually scrolling the page solves the problem.
