Does /sys/.../BAT0 contain meaningful variables in your MacBook

I'm using Arch Linux 3.10.5 on my corporate MacBook Air 5,1.

Hardware support is pretty good. But surprisingly, most battery variables under sysfs (/sys/devices/LNXSYSTM:00/device:00/PNP0C0A:00/power_supply/BAT0) are empty or 0:

In particular, no alarm, cycle_count, serial_number, or technology.

Getting this working is quite important as it'd probably mean getting ACPI low battery alarm events working.
