Re: Nvidia driver problem after upgrade kernel

Did you reboot?  Do you have [testing] enabled or did you download the updated nvidia drivers from [testing]?  3.10.10-1 is a binary breaker.

CPU-optimized Linux-ck packages @ Repo-ck  • AUR packagesZsh and other configs

Re: Nvidia driver problem after upgrade kernel

Are these nvidia drivers form the official repo or some version from th AUR? IF the latter, you have to rebuild them.
The install script reminds you to reboot https://projects.archlinux.org/svntogit … ges/nvidia

Re: Nvidia driver problem after upgrade kernel

same thing happened to me. The maintainer should have had linux-3.10.10 depend on nvidia-325.15-5.
Instead, he probably just thought he would upload them at the same time neutral hoping that it would be ok.
Obviously mirrors sync differently, and we both got screwed. Luckily I could still get to a VT, and upgrade after the nvidia pkg synced.
