Juju on Arch Linux

Hi,

I would like to try to use Juju (https://juju.ubuntu.com).
But currently installers are provided only to Ubuntu and Mac.
Someone have some idea about how may I make Juju run on Arch Linux?

thank you,
Leonardo Leite

Re: Juju on Arch Linux

There are quite a few openstack controllers in AUR. Any reason you want to Ubuntu-crippled version?

Re: Juju on Arch Linux

Juju is not an openstack controller.
It uses cloud services to create virtual machines, but it is mainly about deploying software on the cloud.
A more similar product would be Chef.

What about "puppet"?  It's in AUR.

Re: Juju on Arch Linux

Puppet is more like Chef. But Juju is an abstraction layer above.
I really want to use it, even if I have to run a virtual machine with Ubuntu.
Maybe my question is more about porting apt-get packages to AUR...

Re: Juju on Arch Linux

Yep, indeed I must try it.
After that maybe I can create an AUR package : )
