xfce and rox

to set up rox as the default file manager on xfce4... is it possible to use pacman -R xffm ? or will that stop xfce4 from working properly? and are there any other xffm files i could remove?

i've heard something about a rox desktop but can't find anything about it in pacman...?

thanks!

Re: xfce and rox

yes, you can safely remove xffm from your installation (though it won't hurt to have around methinks)

thanks! - i think you're right - I'll hold onto it for the moment. Though I'm still most interested in this rox-xfce4 desktop... are there no pkgs?

Re: xfce and rox

I think rox will manage you desktop if you start it with the argument 'rox --pinboard=xfce'
I haven't used it though, so the best place to look should be their homepage: http://rox.sourceforge.net/phpwiki/static.html
