SOLVED: Problems with PGP signature in the local pacman database.
Hi, i ve not been in this fourm for a while. I'm glad to be back...
After spending two months out of home, i came back to my arch machine to boot it and to do the full system upgrade after a long time ( counting it in Arch time ), unfortunatedly, my computer refuses to upgrade..... after upgrading the databases and saying yes to the options that pacman prompts concerning the replacement of files, pacman starts giving errors when verifying the integrity of all the packages, it starts saying that Allan Mc Rae PGP signature is invalid and then prompting and endless queue of messages saying that all my packages in the pacman database have a damaged PGP signature.
For me, there is an obvious error in my PGP database, so i tried all the solutions in the wiki to upgrade it, and also regenerating it from zero, but pacman keeps prompting errors...
I dont want to eliminate all my packages from the local database, as the update is huge and it would take hours to download them again...
Any ideas to point me in the right direction???

You can let commands spit out english output by prefixing them with "LANG=C". In your example "LANG=C pacman ...".

Maybe you should try updating just archlinux-keyring first.

Hi , i edited succesfully, my problem was that i ran out of disk space during the download of packages and just notice it, so a lot of packages became corrupted, after freeing the disk and dowloading the packages again i keep getting the error but with just 4 packages all related to Daniel Wallace PGP key (before my edit of the post the original in spanish showed errors in all the PGP keys, so this was my mistake, but i coulndt recreate the error to post it in Englush , sorry), i did tried to remove the package from the /var/cache/pacman/pkg, pacman keeps prompting that there is an error with the packages.
But well is just related to one key..... and this issue is treated in this thread
