I am attempting to install Arch Linux on a laptop, but after mounting all of my partitions, I get the error:
Creating install at /mnt
Installing packages to /mnt
Synchronizing package databases...
core
core.sig
extra
extra.sig
community
error: could not rename /mnt/var/lib/pacman/sync/community.db.part to /mnt/var/lib/pacman/sync/login.html...(File name too long)
....<more errors about renaming>....
error: target not found: base
ERROR: Failed to install packages to new root
I apologize for not typing out the errors completely, but I don't have any easy way of piping the output to a file and putting in online at the moment. Hopefully the information I provided will be enough.
Thanks in advance for any help!

What filesystem are you using?
Offline
I have a gpt partition table using the ext4 filesystem for my root and home partitions, and I also have a swap partition.

Is there any other information that you need that might help?

The problem seemed to be a result of the mirrorlist I was using. I just commented out some of the mirrors, and everything seems to be working fine now. Thanks!

I also received this message while trying to use a "coffeeshop" network (one that makes you do an additional login step once anything beyond the gateway is attempted to be accessed), but once on a regular single-password protected network, it worked.
