I use virtualbox 4.2.18, i686 version of archlinux, kde 4.11.1
I notice a strange bug with systemd 207-5 :
--> I type "systemctl" on a console, then I exit the console, and I try to do a shutdown or reboot, systemd will stop for 2 minutes with this line :
[OK] Removed slice system-netctl.service
if I don't run "systemctl" on a console the bug doesn't occur, it's very strange,
the bug doesn't occur also if I use systemd 203 version
I did a screenshot of the bug :

Noticed that you're running Arch also in a VBox, may I ask if the problem occurs to you on a real system, too? And: does patch work in your case?
Offline
the problem seems to be gone in virtualbox since I reboot my PC,
the problem also doesn't occur on a real system ( a laptop pentium 4 )
but I still get another weird bug, under virtualbox systemd seems to have difficulties to shutdown the process "vboxclient" during the shutdown/reboot ( he needs to use a SIGKILL instead of a SIGTERM signal ), under a real system ( laptop pentium 4 ) it's the same problem with the process "kdesud",
a bug report has been created :
https://bugs.archlinux.org/task/36986?p … &sort=desc
the patch from bug FS#37007 doesn't fix the problem

do you run transmission?

no, I don't use this package

I have the same issue since the upgrade to systemd 207-5.
Real system here, SLiM/openbox.
2 messages following the hang are about user management.
I would be happy to provide a shutdown log, but I can't find any.
And for the record, I have the transmission package installed. However, the issue occurs whether Transmission is running or not.

Same here without the transmission package installed.
