Hi All,
I'm not sure if I'm in the right place for this question, but here goes:
Does anyone know if the OpenOffice 2 package contains the extendedPDF macro?
This is a great macro for exporting PDF's from OO docs with advanced features like including your Table of Contents as PDF bookmarks.
I installed it for my current OO 1.1.4 setup. I'm still too scared to upgrade to OO2 right now, but I just wanted to point out this macro to the OO2 packager for consideration.
extendedPDF's home is here:

Thanks for all the maintainers work in making a GREAT disto!

At least this feature OO2 can do out of the box iirc.
but since the mentioned macro relies on gs I think it shouldn't be a problem to install it. Just to let you know, iirc the quality was fine but the compression was lousy and it to aeons to finish.

Thanks neri !
In OO1.1.4 the speed isn't too bad for me, but you're right about the compression. For my initial test document I get (in bytes):
6832 jea.sxw
13312 jea.doc
25777 jea.pdf
I'm glad to hear the TOC -> pdf bookmarks is a part of OO2 standard pdf export. I have to take the big leap soon and upgrade.
It'll probably come as part of a major arch update ( I'm not even on udev yet, and now there's initrd, yikes! )
Thanks Again for your reply and for maintaining OO for arch!
