sounds in Xfce4

Hello.

Is there a way to get system sounds in Xfce4.+ like in version 3.+ ?  I am talking about things
like menu commands and window open / close, not CD and Web plug-in sounds. They work just fine.

AFAIK, no. That would be against the Xfce style I think.

hehe, the first thing i do if i set up a Windows box is to disable all the bleeps dings and whirrs.
Wondered why i prefered Arch linux/xfce4
