archboot problems

Well, I have two problems with archboot,

the first is, that I had to modify the PKGBUILD and build it via ABS, because amd-ucode is not avalable anymore from the repos, but it is still a dependency of archboot.

The second is, that following the wiki, I created an empty dir, and tried to install the base group in it ( pacman --root /mydir/anywehere -S base ), but it says "Failed to initialize alpm library" (raw translation), which is normal, since pacman has no database in that dir. What ca I do?

Re: archboot problems

I suggest redirecting this question to https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=170238 thread.
