Hello, this is just to announce to anyone who's interested that I've
pretty much finished the libalpm python integration, codenamed
PYneALPM.
So if anyone would like to try it, contribute, flame me, go ahead.

Good call. It is fixed now. Like pacman's PKGBUILD, it has libtar as a makedepend I've updated the PKGBUILD
