AGPGART with pci express

Ok, I was wondering if I can prevent agpgart from loading on my machine because I don't have agp. I use a PCI express card and from what I understand it doesn't need agpgart. Yet, when I load up KDE, there is agpgart in lsmod.

How can I dissable this, or is it even necessary?

Thanks!!!

Re: AGPGART with pci express

If you use hwdetect, add agpgart to MOD_BLACKLIST
Otherwise, tell us how you load your modules or post your rc.conf.

Yeah, I just use hwdetect. So, I will add that to the blacklist and see what happens...

Thanks man!!!
