[Asus X202E] Wifi driver crashes after suspend

On my Asus X202E, whenever the lid is shut and the laptop suspends (Gnome, Unity, KDE, standalone Compiz all alike), the wifi driver crashes, and fails to restart. After, while shutting down, the driver's cries of death can be seen, it rapidly repeats "Invalid PHY/SPEED Duplex". Anyone know how to fix this driver, or prevent it from being stopped when the lid is shut?

It always makes me laugh when people complain and rage over any distro's management ideal, when this is a linux community, and you could always make your own distro and experience the pains yourself.
