recollect - keep local files in sync with remote files

Recollect is a tool for managing local files that should be periodically updated from fixed URIs. A perfect example is the GHC user guide, the latest version of which can always be found at http://www.haskell.org/ghc/docs/latest/users_guide.pdf. With recollect, you can download the guide to a local path and update it with a single invocation of "recollect update". Recollect can even find local files that have been moved/renamed.

Please see the project page for a full list of commands and some usage examples: http://xyne.archlinux.ca/projects/recollect/

Questions, suggestions and other feedback are welcome as always. Feel free to post useful links that you may have too (books, manuals, reference data, scripts, whatever... as long as it's legal, obviously).
