Which Xkbmodel to use?

I have a Dell Inspiron B130, its keys look exactly like this, except I've rearranged them to Dvorak (blacking out the F, U, H, and J keys, of course.)

What I'd like to know is: when configuring my keyboard in X, what should I set as the XkbModel? I know they're all more or less the same, but I'd like to know which one I "should" use.

I'm sorry if this is a bit of a noobish question, but it would be really nice if someone knew which one I should use. Thanks.

Arch believes in "freedom", as well - the user has control over his or her system and can do what he wants with it.

Re: Which Xkbmodel to use?

I'm not sure why you are trying to set the XkbModel at all.  Shouldn't it just work if you set the XkbLayout to dvorak (or the left or right variants specifically)?

Are you actually experiencing some kind of a problem?  xf86-input-evdev typically handles these things just fine, so I guess I'm just a bit confused as to what you are trying to do specifically (besides set dvorak).

I've already got Dvorak working satisfactorily; this is more just an OCD thing on my part wink

Actually, I'm going to start configuring all my Fn keys soon, and I'd like to have everything keyboard-related configured as properly as possible.
(e.g., I set up almost all my keys, then find out that one isn't recognized. I then find the right model to use, but changing that messes up half my existing configuration..)

I know it likely won't make any difference, but I'd like to set it just the same - it's not like it'll break anything (and even if it does, it'll take all of 30 seconds to fix my 10-keyboard.conf file, so, really no problem.)
