[solved] I can no longer make my USB stick bootable...

Hello all,

I managed one time to make my brand new USB drive bootable with my laptop running under Mac OS X following these explanations: https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/US … n_Mac_OS_X. I then launched my desktop computer, boot on the USB flash and started to install Arch. For whatever reason, I had to stop and I shut down my computer. When I wanted do to it again, I could not boot on the USB drive. Back on my laptop, I tempted several times to make it bootable again, following the same explanations. I also tried to restore the MBR and the FAT32 partition using Mac OS X "Disk Utility" and then to do it again, but it did not changed anything. I also tried to "dd" on /dev/disk1s1 like I read somewhere without success. No matter what I do, it won't boot on my USB drive.

I could you use your help smile

I tried again again and again and it ended up working. I guess my 4 years old motherboard is tired...
