[solved]vlc player is always on full screen mode

when I open a video file by vlc. It is full screen mode.
It is not like this before. It should open video in actual size, double click, enter full screen mode.
I tried change preference. It doesn't work.

Re: [solved]vlc player is always on full screen mode

As far as i know (I switched to mplayer quite some time ago) vlc will continue playing new videos in full screen mode until you either explicitly exit full screen mode or terminate vlc before playing another video. You would have to enter full screen mode first, though, since the first video should not start in full screen mode. At least that's how vlc 2.1.0-2 seems to work for me.

You could try and remove your vlc config (~/.config/vlc) and see if that helps (keep a backup).

BTW are you starting vlc by double clicking on some video file or do you use some other method?

Don't forget to mark the thread as solved.

And if you quote something put your reply below the quoted text please. This way your posts will be much easier to read (especially if you quote multiple sources).
