[SOLVED] infinality-ultimate upgrade results in monospace font firefox

After the upgrade I started Firefox which now displays most pages with a monospace font (Google News, Reddit, etc.). The only change made was upgrading infinality-ultimate with pacman -Syu.  It's log:

I get monospaced font in the firefox UI recently, but the pages were OK.
This computer doesn't use freetype2-infinality-ultimate and after another update things went back too to normal.

freetype2-infinality-ultimate is in version 2.5.0.1-7 now.

I don't seem to have that issue myself. But since infinality-bundle is not official arch-repo, it would be better to ask support in this thread.

Also, I'm not sure if this would fix your issue, but with the last upgrade you were supposed to do some extra steps if you're using the font-bundle as well.

Did you install the new version of fontconfig-infinality-ultimate, following the instructions in this post, or upgrade? In order for the upgrade to work correctly, you have to 1) remove the previous version of fontconfig-infinality-ultimate, 2) install the new one with 'pacman -S' (not 'pacman -U / -Syu').

@ooo, thank you very much for mentioning all that. This has been the most spirit rising post since the latest infinality-bundle landed in the repos (=> some people still read instructions and know where they should look for them).

A uninstall/install of fontconfig-infinality-ultimate fixed my problem.  After reading the links I went on to install the free font-bundle and have that working as well.
