hotot-gtk3 twitter client unstable since a week or so

I use hotot-gtk3 from the AUR as my twitter client. I prefer hotot's user interface over Polly, but unfortunately hotot-gtk3 got very unstable since a week or so, especially when doing searches.

So I am wondering if anybody who sees this message and who is also using hotot-gtk3, experienced the same problems and found a solution to the instability issue.
