Hi,
got a Samsung Series 9 (np900x3e) and have been encoutering what seems to me like some sort of a race condition at boot.
The problem is that when I boot up, often my:
a) wifi device gets name wlan0, where it should be named wlp1s0
b) my ethernet device gets named eth0, where it should be name enp2s0
c) the turbo on my CPU is disabled and it's stuck at 1.8GHz where it should be able to go up to 2.5GHz.
(even though $ cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/intel_pstate/no_turbo reveals '0')
d) various combinations of the above.
Right now for example, my CPU is stuck at 1.8GHz, wifi is named correctly and works, ethernet doesnt.
When I reboot, if I'm lucky I get all 3 working but these days it takes me dozens of tries, to get it right.
Has anyone an idea if there's something I can fix? This seems (again) be related to the 3.11 kernel, because if I downgrade the kernel
everything's fine.
Greetings,
