Problem with flash plugin

Hi all,

I have the latest packages of flashplugin, mozilla and firebird, but I can not get the flash plugin working under either of these browsers. Trying to run firebird gives the following message:

[jan@okaapi jan]$ mozilla-firebird &
[1] 1471
[jan@okaapi jan]$ LoadPlugin: failed to initialize shared library /opt/flashplugin/libflashplayer.so [libstdc++-libc6.2-2.so.3: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory]

Am I missing something or are some dependencies broken?

Jan

Re: Problem with flash plugin

I had the same problem. I think simply re-installing the flashplugin (pacman -S flashplugin) solved the problem.

Re: Problem with flash plugin

sometimes the post install symlink does not work properly i would suggest that you first remove the flashplugin via pacman -R flashplugin then reinstall it with pacman -S flashplugin.
