Firefox chrash. caused by run-mozilla.sh ?

When i visit certain pages with firefox 1.5 it crashes and gives the message:

/opt/mozilla/lib/firefox-1.5/run-mozilla.sh: line 131:  3151 Segmentation fault      "$prog" ${1+"$@"}

This only happens when using firefox as a regular user, when using it as root  this never happens. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I have this problem also, but since I have had it for multiple versions on multiple os's I am not sure if it is fixable on the user end.

That's a very very non-descript error... that just means that firefox segfaulted.... it could be caused by 100 different things.

The only way to properly diagnose would be to:
1) recompile firefox in debug mode
2) run via gdb
3) when it crashes, provide a 'bt'
