Notebook keyboard not accessible at tty/install

Hi guys,

After using it on my desktop computer for some month I wanted to install archlinux on my notebook as well. But I ran into the following problem:
No mater if I just boot from the installation .iso or install via bootstrap/chroot from my existing ubuntu - when I come to the tty-prompt, my keyboard is not working at all.
No keys have any effect, whether it is normal typing, capslock, Ctrl+Alt+Del or even the SysResqKeys. Before that point, e.g. at the .iso's menu where you select to boot x86 or x64 the keyboard is perfectly fine.

Right now i can't get my hands on a usb-keyboard to check if it would work with that, but I will try next week. But as the installation via bootrap/chroot showed it affects not only the installation itself.

The notbook is a LG P300-ABMAG and worked fine with several flavours of linux so far (mostly ubuntu till 12.04, debian, linux mint, super grub disk, grml).

Thanks for your help!
