MOC and ALSA - MOC displaying incorrect volume for Master channel

Hi,
I've recently been tweaking my sound settings, and it seems that MOC is displaying the wrong volume % for the Master channel. For example, Master is set to 37 (as seen in alsamixer) and MOC displays 65%.
I also had this problem with pnmixer, where it would display the same (wrong) volume as MOC.
Has anyone else had this problem?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
