I've had this problem before and someone on freenode helped me, but I don't really recall how to fix this. It happens everytime I upgrade.

A lot of these seem to have to do with desktop environment packages like gnome and mate. I have a bunch of them installed, because I wanted to try them, so I won't really mind if I need to remove them or anything. I'm just not really sure where to proceed. Thanks.
