[SOLVED] Transition from Plymouth to LightDM

I enabled plymouth-quit.service (equivalent to the old lightdm-plymouth.service) and there's still no smooth transition from Plymouth to LightDM. (I'm actually using the WebKit greeter, but it doesn't transition anyway from Plymouth to the ordinary GTK+ greeter). By this I mean that VT messages leaked through onto a black screen before loading LightDM. Does a way exist to smoothly transition between the two without showing the VT messages?

Thanks in advance.

Re: [SOLVED] Transition from Plymouth to LightDM

Oh, yeah, I solved it, indeed. I built the plymouth-git package from the AUR, sudo systemctl disable lightdm.service; sudo systemctl enable lightdm-plymouth.service, and rebooted.
