Installing arch on laptop with radeon 6470m

Hello, I'm trying to install arch on my laptop with a radeon 6470m (sony vaio vpcsb1q1e) but I have some problem with X and KDE.
I've installed the "base" system and kde (full) and everything is working, but when I type "startx" to start Xorg the screen became black and the system freeze, no tty avaible and the only way to restart pc is hold the power button.

I think that the problem is driver radeon, but I'm not sure: where can I find a log or something else that help me to find out the problem?

My laptop has a 2nd generation i5, and I think that the integrated graphics is enought for me (internet, develop android app, multimedia and not much more), can I disable at all the discrete card and use the intel graphics card?

Thanks a lot!

Start with the Xorg.log. And look through the ATI Bar & Grill thread for details on your card.
