abs, srcpac

Hi everybody!
I think that abs and srcpac are great tools, but they lack some features in my opinion. Here are my doubts:
1. srcpac should enable user to edit PKGBUILD files (as aurbuild does).
2. Does all the abs tree has to be downloaded to /var/abs? Wouldn't it be more logical if only needed PKBUILDs were downloaded, then edited and saved to disk?

What's your opinion? Maybe it would be easier to add a possibility to use extra and current packages to aurbuild?

Regards,
mdv.

You already can do that by specifying sed replaces in the srcpac.conf file.
Although being able to run your favourite editor would be great smile It would be a vim-vim situation for everybody wink

I'm not sure if it's possible to checkoout (via CVS) a single file. I'm not much into that. But sure, I'd be great.
