Remove video driver to install another video driver

Hello

At the moment I am running x.org intel driver, but I wanna use the propietary nvidia driver with my nvidia graphics card. But installing the propietary nvidia driver causes an issue with dependencies:

[root@Magda roberth]# pacman -S nvidia
resolving dependencies...
looking for inter-conflicts...
:: nvidia-libgl and mesa-libgl are in conflict (libgl). Remove mesa-libgl? [y/N] y
error: failed to prepare transaction (could not satisfy dependencies)
:: intel-dri: requires mesa-libgl

How do I solve this? Couldn't find anything in the forums or the wiki with the keywords I used when searching...

Re: Remove video driver to install another video driver

Remove the Intel drivers first.

There are quite a few threads about nvidia-libgl and mesa-libgl conflict.

Edit: What hardware are you using?
