Adaptec Raid 7805 and Install

Hey,

I am going to attempt for the second time to install arch on a adaptec 7805 raid array with UEFI boot. I tried it the first time and after install I couldn't even get into the bootloader. I am not sure why or what I did but think it may be because of this card? I am able to see the array on the livecd without doing anything. Is there any hooks like raid or lvm that I need to apply for this card?

I don't have any experience with Adaptec RAID controllers, but based on the Adaptec product page I don't see why it wouldn't work. The hooks are irrelevent; you're not even getting to the point they would be involved.

I would first look to the UEFI aspect. Have you 'mastered' it to the point you can be relatively certain it's not the problem?
