Hi,
Got a problem here,
I've bought a new sound card recently - Creative Sound Blaster VX 5.1 . I've mounted it in, then booted up Arch. Card was working fine. Then I booted up Windows in order to install drivers to it, and then again booted up Arch. But now, there is no sound. In alsamixer everything looks fine, lspci shows that the card is recognized, MPD is working and ncmpcpp shows that music is playing.
Have any idea what's wrong? I know that I should attach some logs, but right now I don't have any idea which ones.
And by the way where can I find linux drivers to this card? Are there necessary in order to work properly?
Thanks in advance,
Winged
EDIT:
I figured out how to solve it - it seemed that ALSA had some problems with this card, so I installed OSS instead and now it's working perfectly fine.
