Strangest ALSA eror I've ever seen!

Fresh installation of arch, new hard drive for xmas big_smile. Getting ALSA to run has been a big headache though, not sure why because following the Wiki on it I've never had a problem. Firstly I'm running into this, hope someone can help because I'm nothing without some music sad

[root@tuxzilla tux]# modprobe snd-intel8x0
FATAL: Could not load /lib/modules/2.6.10-ARCH/modules.dep: No such file or directory

sad hoping for some answers! Thanks!

Well, I don't know why you don't have that file, but with a "depmod -a" you can create it.
