Dell M4700 use Intel HD graphics 4000 and Nvidia Quadro K1000M

Hello all,

I want both drivers to work with Xorg, because I need the internal screen and an external monitor on Display port at the same time. Internal monitor belongs to the Intel integrated graphics, while the Display port is connected to the Nvidia card.
So here is what I have done so far:
- installed xf86-video-intel and xf86-video-nouveau packages
- generated an xorg.conf with X -configure command
- installed Gnome 3.10 and GDM

1) With the generated config (http://pastebin.com/J7gxLmQG) I have got black screen on both display, but no errors (http://pastebin.com/UUjXSYNA)
2) Without xorg.conf, only the internal display works
3) Changing the xorg.conf to contain only the Nvidia device, only the external monitor works
4) Replaceing nouveou with proprietary nvidia driver won't work either, because it conflicts with libgl meta package and removes mesa-libgl required by the intel driver. In this case only external display is operational.

Does anybody have any clue on this?

I found a solution.
In the BIOS the Video > Optimus menu the "Nvidia Optimus graphics" option must be turned off.
After that install the nvidia package (and remove xf86-video-*), that will handle the internal display.
