Hi,
developers in trouble - a bit at least.
Firstly I apologize for the broken mono stuff we have in the repos atm. The point is that the changes over at mono folks happen a bit to fast and it becomes a full day job to stay uptodate. Moreover, some of the desktop applications simply crash, mostly the ones that wrap gtkmozembed.
If someone want's to dig into that problem and can send me working packages for monodevelop and the underlaying wrappers gtk-sharp, gtk-sharp-2, gecko-sharp, gecko-sharp-2.0 and gtksoureceview-sharp-2.0 I highly appreciate the help (and so does everyone who uses that packages on a regular basis). Be aware that some of the API's within the mono framework seems to be broken. But if you can do things about it lemme know.
Endless fame will be granted in return.

I wish I could help but I have absolutely no experience with Mono.
I've always felt that AL has been slightly conservative in recruiting devs. Naturally, demonstrable skills and trust is essential, but I think there is a good case for increasing the number of package maintainers.

I had no idea they were broken. I'm writing a loader for Gaim so that one can write plugins in .Net and they will work all nice like, and my Arch desktop is the only place it will reliably run without crashing :-/
