KDE-console

Hi!

I had a one ''problem'' with KDE. On the other distributions ctr-alt-F? works for jump to console. On my system doesn't work. Did I configure something wrong or is in the Arch different?
Thanks,

Mitja

Re: KDE-console

There is a setting for this in xorg.conf and also check your inittab.

I was wondering this to. Using the evdev driver for my keyboard and mouse has prevented me from switching to VT's.

Would you happen to know what those settings are or where I can read about them?

Thanks!!!

Hmmm... I don't have that option in my xorg.conf file. Did you enable that (Remove the #) or did you dissable that (Add the #)?

Thanks!!!

Disable. I had wrong pc105 and I changed for 104::
Section "InputDevice"
    Identifier  "Keyboard0"
    Driver      "keyboard"
        Option      "CoreKeyboard"
    Option "XkbRules" "xfree86"
    Option "XkbModel" "pc104"
    Option "XkbLayout" ""
#    Option "XkbVariant" "nodeadkeys"
EndSection
