I'm been using ArchLinux for about 5 years now and never had this annoyance when I was trying to install the operating system. My secondary computer went down so I'm installing it on my old pentium 4 1.7ghz with 512mb of ram. It boots up fine because I can see the login behind the errors. However, I can't do anything constructive because it will not stop spouting this error across all the consoles:
[***.******] enp2s12: Host error, FIFO diagnostic register 0000.
[***.******] enp2s12: PCI bus error, bus status 80000020
the stars are the numbers it pops up, it throws about 30 of the same number ie 720.039930 then keeps spouting off higher numbers in sequence.
I tried googling the error to no avail and I cannot figure out how to get the console to shut up so I can get to the cli lol. I can see the root login if I press enter so I know it's under there somewhere...
I could only boot in cd mode because this computer doesn't have a usb boot option. The iso I used is: archlinux-2013.12.01-dual.iso
Thanks in advance for the help.

you can try to disable acpi and/or apic by giving these kernel options in your bootloader ( you can add these boot options during the installation of archlinux ) :
acpi=off
noapic
nolapic
