pyload missing js egine

Hi everybody,

according to the wiki one needs to install js to deal with certain hosts (for example zippyshare) that use javascript on their website to allow downloading.
But this doesn't work. pyload keeps saying I'm missing a js-engine when I try to download from zippyshare.

thanks!

PS:
pyload says the following engines are supported:

py-spidermonkey (aur, does not compile)
pyv8 (aur, does not compile)
rhino (extra rep, dependency problem)
and ossp-js (nowhere to be found under that name, is this the js as stated in the wiki?)

https://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/PyLoad

Note: The current js package does not create /usr/bin/js, which is required by pyload. You need to create the symlink yourself, i.e. run ln -s /usr/bin/js24 /usr/bin/js as root if /usr/bin/js24 exists.

Re: pyload missing js egine

It is generally ill-advised to create symlinks in /usr/bin unless you really know what you are doing. For the record, /usr/bin/js is currently provided by js185 in [community]. I'm not sure what the reasoning behind js not providing /usr/bin/js, but it appears to be an upstream decision. If pyload requires /usr/bin/js, then it should (probably) depend on 'js185', not 'js'.

Anyway, as this is a historical topic, I'm going to go ahead and close it now. Hachel, if you want it reopening, please file a report.
